How to Get Clarity in an Instant (or at Least in 20 Minutes)

Let's look at one little word that has an amazing power to get you on your way to living a life you adore.

That one little word is CLARITY.

Do you have clarity? Now, wait ... do you really?

Sometimes, the reason things don't quite work out the way you want them to is because you haven't really answered this question: "What do I want?"

We know the universe can't bring us what we want if we aren't absolutely 100% clear.

So how do you know if you really, truly have clarity? Get out your pen - we're going to find out!

Draw two columns on a piece of paper.

On the left-hand side, jot down everything that's challenging you right now. Look for any places where you're feeling stuck. Just brainstorm and make notes for about 20 minutes.

Some items will be either/or questions such as ... do I want to do this, or that? Some may be confusion - I'm not sure what to do about blank?

Some may be about an exact resolution - why haven't I achieved blank yet? And some will be puzzles or mysteries - I've taken every conceivable step I know of to achieve blank, so why is blank not happening?

Keep listing these questions as they come up for you, and for most people, it takes about 20 minutes or even longer. Then on the right side of the paper, oh right ... maybe there IS no right side of the paper because you had so many questions that it took up both sides!

Well, there you have it ... that's a lack of clarity. I can't tell you how often I have people do this exercise, and once they sit down in a dedicated space with a pen, can see how much clarity they're missing.

If you write out all your questions and puzzles to the universe in 20 minutes, you'd probably be surprised at how many questions are stirring inside you. Amazing, right?

So there are a couple of options you have. One option is to use another piece of paper to directly state what you want.

Don't worry about the "how" right now, just state "what" you want. This can be done line-by-line, answering each of your questions or challenges one at a time.

Or you may even look over your list and realize you already have the answers to some of these questions, and you don't need to circle around the possibilities anymore.

So line-by-line, write down the ideal outcomes you'd love to see. And remember - let go of the "what-if's." It's possible to do so much questioning, as in "what if this, and what if that, and what if it doesn't go well" ... that it neutralizes your clarity!

Right now, clarity is all you need. Everything else will fall into place.
