Are you longing to discover your life purpose? Do you want to know your true purpose so that you can act on it? If you responded with a resounding "Yes", you are not alone.

At some point in our lives, we all want to know our life purpose and live a meaningful life. For many people, they have a burning desire to discover and express their life with purpose, passion, and fulfillment.

In many ways discovering your life purpose is a process of self discovery, which is unique to you. Before getting started, I invite you to keep the following tips in mind so that you can achieve the best results for embarking on your personal journey to discover your life purpose.

The 7 tips are as follows:

1. Allow Yourself to Explore

It is important to have an open mind and open heart throughout this process. This includes being grateful for who you are right now, for arriving at this moment in your life, and for what is about to unfold.

2. Trust the Process

This is a process that takes time, so be patient with yourself. This process should not be rushed and finished quickly. It is important to keep in mind that life purpose discovery is a process and not a destination, which means that it takes time. There is no magic pill or flash of insight that will reveal your purpose instantly. Rather, the process includes a commitment to explore, reflect and connect with yourself.

3. Put Yourself First

Commit to taking care of yourself and putting your needs at the top of the priority list. It is a form of practicing being "self-full" and not being "selfish". When you do, you will experience positive changes personally, and so will those around you because you are operating at your best.

4. Set Aside Quiet Time

This can include scheduling uninterrupted time alone for self-reflection. It can also include spending time in nature, making time for meditation, being still, and getting in touch with your emotions.

5. Start a Journal

Choose a journal that feels just right for you, preferably one that has lots of room for writing and can easily be carried. A journal will serve as a safe space for self-reflection. You may already be familiar with using a journal. If not, it is a great way to write about your thoughts and feelings, as well as gain insights.

6. Pay Attention to Coincidences

As you begin to work on discovering your purpose, pay attention to coincidences, synchronicity and opportunities that may come your way. It could occur in the form of finding a book that will move you forward, meeting or hearing of someone who is on a similar path, or by being at the right place at the right time.

7. Have Fun!

You are embarking on an exciting adventure of self-discovery, so play, express your creativity, and dream!
