In your day to day life, unless you are in a creative profession you may not feel that creativity plays any part in your life. Well, get ready to be surprised!
There are many different areas in which you can exercise your creative passions each day, even if you are pressured for time and energy.
First and foremost your home is an expression of your personality. You use creativity to infuse your personal space with small pieces that reflect your soul. The colors you choose, the patterns and designs in your furniture and the artwork and decor you choose to populate your home are your creativity coming out.
If you enjoy gardening that is an ideal outlet for creativity. Everything from choosing the type of plants and flowers to grow to the layout and the seasonal blooming schedule is related to creative expression. See, even when you think you're just enjoying a hobby and getting fresh air, you're actually showing your creativity!
Okay, your desk is the last place you think of when you think of being creative unless you are some sort of artist but in fact even the way you lay out your office supplies and work on your desk can be creative. Some people have strategically balanced stacks of folders and files perched precariously on their desks, and it works very well for them. Others may have neat and organized cubbies for their work to keep everything clean and organized.
No matter how you prefer to store your work on your desk it's your method of creative expression and what works for you to be productive.
What better way to express your creativity than putting together your wardrobe? Design, patterns, textures, matching and styles are all creative aspects of your wardrobe. How you put it together, how you wear it and the unique aspect of your personal style is a great way to express your creativity day after day.
Work, family, school, children etc. can all take their toll on your creativity. Stress and exhaustion are detrimental to feeling creative. But when you want to discover your passion for being creative just take a look around you. Everything that makes you, you, is a part of your inner creativity coming out to play.
There are plenty of ways that you can indulge in creativity throughout each day no matter how busy you may be. Being creative doesn't require a special room, a certain amount of time or any sort of training, it's a matter of being in touch with your personal desires and expressing the way you feel and think.
The next time you think you don't have the time or energy to be creative take just a few moments to look around you. See where your personal touches have made your home unique and reflect your personality, notice how your wardrobe accentuates your best features and show your flair for colors, see how intricately put together your desk is and how it helps you feel productive.
